Florian Dombois (*1966, Berlin) is an artist who has focused on wind, time, labilities, and tectonic activity. His practice includes a variety of media and repetitively articulates in happenings and sound installations. 2010 he received the German Sound Art Prize. Since 2011 he has been professor of transdisciplinarity at the Zurich University of the Arts. With a large group of fellow artists he runs the project "Triple Instruments", which are sound kites flown on piano wire.
